James Buescher and the NASCAR Nationwide Series head to the Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course for the series’ final road course race of the season. The Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 will mark Buescher’s first start at the 13-turn, 2.258-mile Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course. Buescher is coming off a solid 11th-place finish last week at Watkins Glen International.

After being slated to start the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International in the 17th position, James Buescher had to drop to the rear of the 39-car field before the green flag for unapproved adjustments after the qualifying session. Buescher started his charge through the field when he quickly cleared a handful of cars on the first couple of laps of the 82-lap race.

Ron Hornaday Jr. made his fifth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at Pocono Raceway this weekend, looking for his first win at one of the few tracks he had yet to conquer. After top-15 times in the weekend’s two practice sessions, Hornaday made it to the second round of knockout qualifying in the No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products Chevy, earning the 14th starting spot.

James Buescher and the No. 99 Ruud team head to Iowa Speedway for their second and final stop of the 2014 season. Iowa Speedway is a track that Buescher has typically excelled at in the past. Buescher has two previous NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at the 0.875-mile oval and seven NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts including a victory that came in the 2013 season.

Making his second start at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, James Buescher and the Rheem team rolled off the grid in the 18th starting position for Saturday’s Lilly Diabetes 250. At the start of the 100-lap race Buescher held his ground in the 18th position until the first yellow flag of the day was displayed for debris in Turn 1. Heading into Eldora Speedway on Wednesday night, Ron Hornaday Jr. looked to get his 2014 season back on track following a disappointing finish at Iowa Speedway a few weeks ago.
