Buescher Looking Forward to Competing At Indianapolis

James Buescher and the Rheem Toyota team are coming into Indianapolis Motor Speedway looking to erase the bad luck the team has recently endured. Buescher has one previous start at the famed ‘Brickyard’. That one and only start came during the 2012 season.

Indy is just so rich with racing history. I first stepped foot on the grounds of Indy in 2012 when I raced in the Nationwide Series race and it was such an amazing track to see.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Eldora Speedway for its second year of dirt racing. Four-time champion Ron Hornaday Jr. has one start at the 0.5-mile-oval, coming home 28th in last year’s inaugural showdown. Hornaday was off to a strong start in the American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway, running in and around the top five for the first quarter of the 200-lap race and demonstrating he was a candidate for the win.

James Buescher comes to Chicagoland Speedway with one previous NASCAR Nationwide Series start under his belt. That start came in 2012 when Buescher secured a 15th-place finish. Ron Hornaday Finishes 21st After Early Incident at Iowa Speedway

Ron Hornaday was off to a strong start in the American Ethanol 200, running in and around the top five for the first quarter of the 200-lap race and demonstrating he was a candidate for the win. However, an incident on lap 63 with another competitor caused significant damage to the No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products Chevrolet, relegating him to a 21st-place finish at Iowa Speedway.
