Hornaday Brings Home Top 10 in Kentucky

Coming into Kentucky on Thursday night, Ron Hornaday Jr. wanted to continue his hot start to the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season and come home with a top-10 finish. Hornaday and his Rheem Comfort Products team did just that, finishing eighth for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) at Kentucky Speedway. The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) made their first road course appearance of the season at Road America. After the first practice session was cancelled on Friday, the NNS would only get one two-hour practice session to adjust to the 14-turn Road America track. Turning nine laps in his qualifying session, James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem team were set to roll off the grid for the Gardner Denver 200 in the 18th position.

James Buescher heads to Road America coming off another top-15 finish last weekend at Michigan International Speedway. Almost a year later and now racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, the 24-year-old James Buescher started the Ollie’s Bargin Outlet 250 from the 21st position.
