Buescher Returns to Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300

Buescher returns to his home track, Texas Motor Speedway (TMS), with the goal of becoming the first driver to win on all surfaces at TMS. Cutting his teeth in racing at TMS, Buescher has already visited victory lane on the short tracks, the dirt track and the road course. The only surface Buescher has yet to win on at TMS is the 1.5-mile oval.

Hornaday Finishes Ninth in Rain-Delayed Race at Martinsville

Ron Hornaday Jr. finished ninth for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday evening after rain on Saturday forced the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race to be pushed after the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The veteran driver started the weekend strong in the No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products Chevrolet, finishing eighth in first practice and taking the top spot in final practice on Friday.

Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday Jr. will make his third-career start for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) in Saturday afternoon’s event at Martinsville Speedway. The 55-year-old veteran is no stranger to success at the half-mile “paper clip”, having 23 starts with one win, 10 top fives and 14 top 10s to his credit.

I’m really looking forward to getting back in the Rheem Comfort Products Chevrolet this weekend in Martinsville.

Buescher Battles Tight-Handling Race Car for 16th-Place Finish at Auto Club Speedway

Starting from the 12th position in the TreatMyClot.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway, James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry, were looking like a team that could contend for the victory through the first third of the 150-lap event. With the multiple long green-flag stretches, the handling on the No. 99 started to slip away. The RAB Racing team didn’t give up however and continued to battle for a top-10 finish.

This weekend will mark James Buescher’s first start at Auto Club Speedway (ACS) since 2012. Buescher has recorded three previous starts at the 2.0-mile oval in his career. Buescher’s best finish came in 2012 when he finished 12th. Buescher and the RAB Racing Rheem team are aiming to secure the team’s first top-10 of the season.

Shortly before qualifying started for the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300, the RAB Racing No. 99 Rheem team noticed something was a miss in their motor. The Rheem team got approval from NASCAR and opted to change the motor just before the qualifying session started. For the first time this year, the Rheem team made it into the final round of Knockout qualifying.

James Buescher returns to the high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) in a NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) car for the first time since 2012. Buescher has a total of eight starts at BMS, three of which came in the NNS while five in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Buescher’s best finish at the BMS came in the Truck series in 2011 when he finished fourth.

After starting in the 14th position for the Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, James Buescher and the RAB Racing No. 99 Rheem team battled a loose-handling race car. The 23-year-old driver was able to adjust his line and continue to hold his ground inside the top 15. During the first long green flag run, Buescher was one of many drivers to go a lap down to the leader.

With two solid practice sessions Friday and narrowly missing the cut for the second segment of qualifying at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR), James Buescher rolled off the grid for the Blue Jeans Go Green 200 in the 16th position. When the green flag turned the field loose, Buescher wasted no time advancing his position going three-wide on the first lap.
