James Buescher and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) visit NASCAR’s smallest track for the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway. Buescher and his No. 31 Rheem team come into the Kroger 200 with nothing to lose and will focus on capturing their third victory of the season and Buescher’s first at Martinsville Speedway.

Martinsville is a tricky little track but it makes for some great racing for the fans.

After starting from the 33rd position and avoiding the infamous ‘Big One,’ Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Jimmy John’s team finished 12th at Talladega Superspeedway. Following the strategy implemented by crew chief Gil Martin and the team before the race, the Richard Childress Racing driver laid back in the field during early stages of the race in an attempt to avoid the destruction that is synonymous with restrictor-plate racing.

After a two-week hiatus, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returned to action at the series’ largest track on the schedule, Talladega Superspeedway. After a solid fourth-place qualifying effort, James Buescher and his No. 31 Rheem team proved to be one of the trucks to beat during the Fred’s 250. After leading 15 laps in the early going, Buescher got shuffled back in the running order due to pit strategy.

Paul Menard will pilot chassis No. 406 at Talladega Superspeedway. This No. 27 Chevrolet SS was previously run this season at Talladega in May and Daytona International Speedway in July. In addition, this chassis was tested at Daytona in January and April. Menard has 14 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Talladega Superspeedway. His best start of fifth came in both 2008 and 2011 and best finish of second came in 2008.

Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet team finished sixth under the lights of Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday night, after starting on the front row and battling an ill-handling racecar throughout the majority of the 334-lap event. Kevin Harvick and the No. 33 Fast Fixin’ Chevrolet team captured a fourth-place finish in the Dollar General 300 Friday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway after leading laps and battling handling issues throughout the 200-lap event. Starting from the 10th position, the California native found speed in his Richard Childress Racing machine moving into the top five by lap three. Harvick maintained his position toward the front of the pack during the early laps as he battled a tight-handling Chevrolet.
