NASCAR Nationwide Series – Indiana 250

Kevin Harvick and the No. 21 Hunt Brothers Pizza team earned a fifth-place finish in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The two-time series champion started the 100-lap race from the 15th position and worked his way into the top 10 by lap eight while fighting a loose-handling Chevrolet. Harvick visited pit road on lap 30 for four tires, fuel and chassis adjustments and settled into the sixth spot as green-flag pit stops cycled through the field.

In his third NASCAR Nationwide Series start of the season, Paul Menard maintained a top-10 running position for the majority of the 250-mile race finishing sixth at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday. Paul Menard will pilot chassis No. 130 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro is a new addition to the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series stable and will turn its first laps in practice on Friday. Menard has one Nationwide Series start at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kevin Harvick will pilot chassis No. 429 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stable in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This Chevrolet is new to the No. 29 team lineup and will turn its first competitive laps this weekend at the 2.5-mile oval. immy John’s joins Harvick and the No. 29 team for their fourth of eight races during the 2013 Sprint Cup Series season.

Paul Menard will pilot chassis No. 428 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This No. 27 Chevrolet SS is a new addition to the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stable and will turn its first laps in practice on Friday. Menard has six starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. His best start of eighth came in 2012 and his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win came in 2011.

NASCAR Truck Series – MudSummer Classic

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will head to Eldora Speedway on July 24 to make their debut on the 0.5 dirt oval. Although James Buescher has limited dirt experience, he does have one victory on dirt coming at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. Buescher comes into Eldora Speedway with momentum on his side, having scored top-five finishes in the two most-recent NCWTS events.

Starting from the 14th position, Paul Menard and the No. 27 Libman/Menards team faced handling issues throughout the scheduled 301-lap event, earning a 17th-place finish when the checkered flag flew at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. After slipping back several positions in the early laps of the race, Menard made his way back inside the top 15 at lap 25.

Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Budweiser team collected their ninth-consecutive top-10 finish after earning a seventh-place result at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon. The California native started the scheduled 301-lap event from the 18th position and ran in or near the top 20 during the early laps. Harvick was scored in the 17th position when the yellow flag waved on lap 203.
