Buescher and His No. 99 Team Are Looking Forward to Richmond

NASCAR Nationwide Series - Toyota Care 250
April 25, 2014 - Richmond International Raceway
James Buescher, No. 99

After a cut left-front tire spoiled the No. 99 RAB Racingteams chances for their first top-10 of the season at Darlington Raceway, the Rheem team comes to Richmond regrouped and looking to string together some solid results. James Buescher has four previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) starts at the 0.75 D-shaped oval. In those four starts, he has three top-15 finishes.

How was it to have a weekend off?

It felt really good to be at home and spend some quality time with my family and friends. I was able to get some projects around the house done and just be able to relax. I feel reenergized and I know the guys at the shop have been hard at work so I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of our No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry at Richmond. - James Buescher

What would it mean to win at Richmond?

Richmond is Chris Rice's (crew chief) home race track -- he's really excited about going to Richmond. Richmond has been one of my least favorite tracks to go to honestly. I've already told him that, but I'm going to learn to like it and we're going to figure it out. I'm hoping that we can do well there. It seems like we did well out in Phoenix before the rain came and the two-tire pit stop came so I'm hoping we will have a good run at Richmond for another short track race. - James Buescher
