NASCAR Nationwide Series - John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300 presented by Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
June 27, 2014 - Kentucky Speedway
James Buescher, No. 99
James Buescher comes into the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300 presented by Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over at Kentucky Speedway with three previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) starts under his belt at the 1.5-mile oval. Buescher has recorded one top-10 in the NNS at Kentucky. In addition to his three NNS starts at Kentucky Speedway, Buescher has recorded seven starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. In the seven starts, Buescher has racked up two wins, four top-fives, six top-10's and has led 188 laps.
I'm really excited about returning to Kentucky this weekend. Last week at Road America we struggled a little bit but I can't think of a better place to rebound than a track that I've typically run pretty well at. Two seasons ago when I swept the Truck races here, it was a great accomplishment for myself. We have a full test day on Wednesday, so Matt Lucas and the guys will get our Toyota Care Camry dialed in. This weekend will also mean a lot to me as we'll have Toyota Care as our primary sponsor this weekend. The Camry's are made just down the road in Georgetown so I hope I bring a sense of pride to them. - James Buescher
