NASCAR Truck Series - UNOH 200
August 20, 2014 - Bristol Motor Speedway
Ron Hornaday, No. 30
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the Bristol, Tennessee and Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) for the UNOH 200. Ron Hornaday Jr. has 14 previous starts at the half-mile oval, with two wins, four top fives, nine top 10s and two poles. In his 14 events, Hornaday has turned 2,741 laps around BMS.
With just 10 races remaining in the 2014 season, Hornaday is holding strong in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings. Sitting in the fourth position, Hornaday trails points leader Johnny Sauter by just 19 points, and is only 10 points back from Matt Crafton, who currently sits second.
I really enjoy racing at Bristol. It's one of those places that's rich in NASCAR history and just a fun place to race. All of the Turner Scott Motorsports teams tested there a few weeks ago and I think our HTPG Refrigeration team learned a lot. It doesn't get much better than racing under the lights at Bristol, and I'm really looking forward to it. - Ron Hornaday Jr.
The UNOH 200 can be seen live on Wednesday, August 20 at 8:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.
