NASCAR Nationwide Series - Kansas Lottery 300
October 4, 2014 - Kansas Speedway
James Buescher, No. 99
James Buescher and the No.99 Ruud team head to Kansas to compete at the Kansas Speedway for the Kansas Lottery 300. Coming into this weekend, Buescher has four previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) starts at the 1.5-mile oval. The 24-year-old Texas native also has five starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at the track. In those five NCWTS starts, Buescher has one pole, one victory and two top-fives. Buescher is aiming to secure his third top-10 of the season.
Our Ruud team and I are looking forward to getting to Kansas this week. We unloaded with a really fast Camry last week at Dover and just being a couple weeks removed from Chicago; I hope that can translate well over to this weekend. Kansas and Chicagoland Speedway are very similar and we had a decent run there, I think that our RAB Racing team will be very prepared coming into this weekend so we can go out there and have a solid run. I haven't typically run well in the Nationwide Series at Kansas but I do enjoy the track and the racing that it develops so I would like nothing more than to improve my stats. Most of all, I just want to get a good finish for Ruud, my team and all the guests that will be in stands cheering us on. - James Buescher
