Paul Menard will pilot chassis No. 361 at Watkins Glen International. This No. 27 Chevrolet SS was previously raced by Menard at Watkins Glen International in 2011 and 2012, finishing 32nd and 12th, respectively. Menard has nine starts at Watkins Glen International. His best start of 14th came in 2009, and best finish of 12th came in 2012. The Wisconsin native has completed 807 of 814 laps attempted (99.1 percent) at the 2.45-mile road course. Menard made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at Watkins Glen International on August 10, 2003 in the 90-lap road course event. He started his Chevrolet from the 43rd position and finished on the lead lap in 29th. Since that afternoon in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, Menard has one win, seven top-five and 29 top-10 finishes to his credit. He has one pole award and has led for 169 laps. Starting 22nd, Menard finished 12th in last year's race for his best finish to-date at the New York track.

I really enjoy road-course racing and I wish we had more than two road-course races on our schedule. We've had fast cars at Watkins Glen (International), we just haven't had the finishes to show it. Watkins Glen is fun because you can pass anywhere. The best places to pass are going into turn one and coming to turn six. If you can out-brake the car in front of you, you have a good opportunity to make some passes. I like the road courses because we get to shift and make both left and right turns. It's nice to change things up every once in awhile. The bus stop can be one of the most exciting parts of the track. If you go in there running two-wide it gets pretty crazy, but if you're by yourself it's not too bad. It is probably the toughest spot on the track to pass someone because if they don't let you go in single file, and you drive through two-wide, you're going to make contact at some point. Usually, people give and take a little more through the bus stop than they do in other parts of the track. I'm really looking forward to going to 'The Glen' this weekend. - Paul Menard
