Christopher Bell / No. 20 Ruud Toyota Camry Preview Johnsonville 180 at Road America

On the Road Again: Coming off their 12th top-five finish of the 2018 season last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, Christopher Bell and the No. 20 Ruud team will continue their 2018 campaign at Road America this weekend for their third of four road-course races on the season. In his first visit to the 4.408-mile facility last season, Bell started fourth and finished 19th.

I feel like our road-course program has gotten better this season, and I’ve gotten better as a road-course racer

Ruud is Back: This weekend the Ruud brand will make its fourth appearance on the No. 20 Toyota Camry this season. Ruud, part of the Rheem family of quality brands, provides heating, cooling and water heating products for residential and light commercial use.

Bristol Recap: Christopher Bell and his Rheem team made their final visit of the 2018 season at Bristol Motor Speedway last week. After qualifying second for the 300-lap event on Friday afternoon, Bell spent the entire race inside the top 10 and battling Cup Series regular Kyle Larson for the lead late in the race, ultimately crossing the finish line in second and earning his 12th top-five finish of the season.

Joe Gibbs Racing at Road America: JGR has 22 NXS starts at Road America and has earned four top-five and 10 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has won one pole award with an average start of 8.3 and an average finish of 13.9. JGR will be looking for their first win at the Elkhart Lake Facility this weekend

Points Update: Following Bristol, Bell and his Ruud team continue to lead the points standings, now holding a 13-point advantage over second place with just four races remaining in the regular season.

Christopher Bell: “I’m looking forward to this weekend at Road America and having the Ruud brand back on our Camry. I feel like our road-course program has gotten better this season, and I’ve gotten better as a road-course racer, so I’m excited to see how we stack up on Saturday afternoon. We only have four races left in the regular season, so hopefully we can go out on Saturday, have a good points day and finish for Ruud, Rheem, GameStop and everyone that supports this No. 20 team.”
