Race Info: The Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 at Darlington Raceway begins at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 31, 2019. The race will be broadcast live on NBC, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

Bell at Darlington: Christopher Bell will make his second-career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start at the historic Darlington Raceway this Saturday. Bell made his debut one year ago where he qualified second and had a solid run going until getting loose on lap 54 and into the wall. Bell visited pit road for repairs, but 10 laps later cut a tire. The damage was too severe to finish, resulting in a 34th-place finish.

I love Darlington. It’s a really fun racetrack. It’s really slick and I’m ready to redeem myself from last year.

On the Car: Bell’s No. 20 Ruud Toyota Supra highlights McCall’s Supply, Inc. as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. McCall’s Supply Inc. is one of the oldest HVAC wholesale distributors in South Carolina and specialize in a full line of Ruud products.

McCall’s in Full Support: In addition to being featured on the No. 20 Ruud Supra, a contingent of over 100 McCall’s customers and employees will be in attendance on Saturday to cheer on Christopher and his team.

Road America Recap: Christopher Bell showcased some road racing skills, taking home the win Saturday at Road America. The win was Bell’s first road course victory and his sixth win of the 2019 NXS season. Bell qualified 12th and led 10 laps out of the 45 raced on the 4.048-mile road course. The win followed up back-to-back second-place finishes at the two previous road courses races for the series.

Points Update: Following Road America, Bell and his No. 20 team currently sit second in the points standings, 45 points back with three races remaining in the 2019 regular season.

Joe Gibbs Racing at Darlington: JGR has 55 NXS starts at Darlington Raceway with 10 wins, 28 top-five and 37 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has seven pole awards with an average start of 12.4 and an average finish of 10.3.

Christopher Bell: “I love Darlington. It’s a really fun racetrack. I got to go test there last year, so I’ve got some laps there. Not as many as some of the other guys since the race last year didn’t go so well for us, but I do have some seat time there and it’s one of my favorite tracks. It’s really slick and I’m ready to redeem myself from last year.”
