RACE INFO: The Use Your Melon Drive Sober 200 at Dover International Speedway begins at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

Monster Mile: Christopher Bell and the No. 20 Rheem team will make their second stop of the 2019 season at Dover International Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Bell took home the win in the spring race after a fast pit stop by his crew got him the lead in the final stage. In his three previous starts at Dover Bell has two wins, three top-five and three top-10 finishes.

Taming the Monster: Bell heads into Dover looking to make it three in a row after winning this race one year ago and taking the checkered flag in the spring. Bell has led a total of 154 laps around the 1.0-mile concrete oval and has never finished lower than fourth.

ROVAL Recap: Bell started 11th and raced his way up inside the top-three for a majority of the 67-lap race, even pacing the field for 19 laps. A duel late in the race for position caused Bell to miss the chicane and briefly run off course. NASCAR issued a penalty and Bell had to start at the tail end of the field. Despite the setback Bell maneuvered his way through the field to finish 12th.

2019 Playoffs: Bell locked himself into the “Round of 8” in the 2019 NASCAR NXS Playoffs with his victory at Richmond Raceway. Bell is currently the NXS points leader by 10 points over second.

Joe Gibbs Racing at Dover: JGR has 96 NXS starts at Dover with 13 wins, 36 top-five and 59 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has 10 pole awards with an average start of 9.1 and an average finish of 11.1.

Christopher Bell: “Dover is a fast, high banked track and really a ton of fun to drive. Dover is one of my favorite tracks and we’ve had some luck there. It was awesome to be able to win the Golden Miles in the spring and I’d like to get another one this weekend. We’ve had really fast cars at Dover and I’m ready to see what we can do this weekend.”
