Rheem WAVE Team Hosts Spa Day at Atlanta Humane Society

Rheem^® WAVE associates recently had the exciting opportunity to volunteer with the Atlanta Humane Society. Often called Surfers within Rheem, the associates are early career professionals from our rotational program who work with multiple departments over the course of two years.

The Day’s Events

To get the spa day started, the team met Russell, Rainy, Sasha, Penny, Merry, Lala and more. There was a furry friend for everyone. The day was filled with tons of playtime and pampering for the pups, and the team loved connecting with each and every one.

Pet Grooming Made Easy with Rheem HotWave

One of the highlights was giving the dogs much-needed baths. The team used Rheem HotWave^® to treat the dogs to a good wash. HotWave is our multipurpose heated hose sprayer that offers complete control of the water temperature, water pressure and spray patterns, so it’s a popular choice among dog owners. Using the gentler spray settings at a comfortable, cool temperature, the team gave the dogs pet grooming sessions. The best part was when the team donated three Rheem HotWaves to the shelter so that the dogs could continue enjoying future baths. The Atlanta Humane Society’s mission resonates a lot with us – both as a company and as individuals. Along with HotWaves, we also donated a financial contribution to support the shelter’s ongoing efforts to provide a safe and loving environment for the animals. The team enjoyed supporting a local shelter that brings pet owners, volunteers and others so much joy. We’d like to thank the people at Atlanta Humane Society for helping us host a fun event for the pets and for their continued dedication to helping the community.

We are very grateful for our Surfers because they bring a breath of fresh air into everything we do. The team has been working hard, and the event was a treat for everyone, especially our new, furry friends.
